The FYSA Project
The FYSA (For Your Situational Awareness) Project is centered around a solution developed by our Founder, and further developed by the Disaster Logistics Board IMAT and other Law Enforcement and Emergency Management officials.
OUR SOLUTION SOLVES INDOOR MAPPING, TRACKING AND NAVIGATION ISSUES FOR FIRST RESPONDERS, PROVIDING UNPARALLELED SITUATIONAL AWARENESS.*
*Due to both National Security and Privacy concerns, and to maintain both INFOSEC and OPSEC, we cannot publicly post the details of this solution. you may contact firstname.lastname@example.org to request details which will be provided after vetting and clearance*
The FYSA Project produces a deliverable virtual product at LITTLE TO NO COST for a Government Entity, Business or Educational Institution, a Game Changing, highly detailed, and immediately deployable/on-demand solution that First Responders, Tactical Commanders and Critical Decision Makers can use while responding to an Active Shooter situation.
The solution SIGNIFICANTLY reduces the planning and response time during a tactical response, where seconds literally translate to lives saved or lives lost.
The solution can also be used for planning, mitigation, After Action Reports and Training (Virtual, Live, Tabletop, Field) adding a level of data that typically doesn’t exist in an investigation or training scenario, due to the common high-cost (both dollar and rime) to collect such a data set and convert it to a workable product.
The Disaster Logistics Board’s mission is aligned with the mitigation and management of Active Shooter related incidents.
“It is clear…that disasters are characterized by a range of factors of which fatalities is only one. The Bradford Disaster Scale should, perhaps, be more accurately termed the ‘Bradford Fatality Scale’. Multiple fatalities will almost certainly be regarded as ‘disasters’. However, they are not a necessary condition for an event to be perceived as a disaster.” (Horlick-Jones and Peters 1991, 146)
